Hazardous Area International is a new magazine dedicated to hazardous areas all over the world.
Following the success of HazardEx The Journal and the HazardEx International newsletter, IML Group has launched Hazardous Area International - a magazine dedicated to hazardous areas all over the world.
Hazardous Area International will be a bimonthly magazine with the launch issue being published in September.
"The journal promises to bring a unique focus on safety in hazardous areas through technical news and comments centred on the international oil and gas, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, minerals extraction and food processing industries, where there is a risk of explosion from gas, vapour and dust clouds", said Russell Goater, Publisher of the Group at IML.
"Hazardous Area International has grown out of the UK brand HazardEx, which continues to explain and promote the European ATEX directives and how they are applied in the industrial environment under DSEAR in the UK", he continued.
"We are constantly being asked to provide information for safety equipment and services to areas of Europe and the Middle East, Hazardous Area International will meet this need".
Also from the same group is HazardEx International 07, an event that runs once a year each February with a two day conference and an awards scheme to reward suppliers of the hazardous area sector and celebrated with an annual gala dinner during the event.
Regular journals and newsletters dedicated to the safe operation of hazardous areas support the main event and a series of regional seminars held around the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
Hazardous Area International brings the European experience of operating plant under the ATEX directives into the international arena and will start with an international journal and electronic newsletters and is already developing conferences and events in Europe and the Middle East to continue as the brand development.
