Component specialist IMO has launched a new generation of DPDT subminiature signal relays.

Component specialist IMO has launched a new generation of DPDT subminiature signal relays.

Available as through hole or surface mount options, UC2 and UD2 respectively, the new relays are extremely compact and lightweight, measuring just 10.6mm long x 5.5mm wide x 6.5mm high.

Ideal for super high density mounting in telecommunications applications, the new relays meet Bell-Core FCC standard requirements, in addition to IEC950, UL1950 and EN60950 insulation distance stipulations.

In addition, the relays are available as a standard non-latch type or single coil latch type, with non-latch relays requiring 140mW - 230mW nominal operate power and single coil latch relays requiring 100mW - 120mW.

Furthermore, breakdown voltage between the coil and contacts is 1500VAC for one minute and 2500V surge (2 x 10µs), also the relays feature a 2 Form C contact arrangement constructed from a silver alloy with gold alloy overlay for reliability and accuracy.
