The new SRJ high power automotive relay from IMO Precision Controls can now switch up to 40amp loads; contact arrangements include, SPDT, SPNO, SPNC and SPDM

The new SRJ high power automotive relay from IMO Precision Controls Limited can now switch up to 40amp loads.

A standard model SRJ with a 30A rating is also available and is capable of normal operation in temperatures up to +85C.

Contact arrangements include, SPDT, SPNO, SPNC and SPDM, covering a wide range of automotive switching applications, and construction is a standardised design for plug-in quick connect terminals.

Each relay features silver tin oxide contacts for reliable operation and will achieve minimum mechanical and electrical life expectancies of 10 x 106 and 1 x 105 operations respectively.

To further improve reliability in difficult operating environments, optional dust covers, plastic mounting ears and a C1 cover for the steel bracket can be specified.

The relay is available in 12V or 24V coil voltage rated models.
