Leading automation and control specialist IMO Precision Controls has strengthened its UK distribution network by appointing ETS Birmingham as a new official representative.
Leading automation and control specialist IMO Precision Controls has strengthened its UK distribution network by appointing ETS Birmingham as a new official representative, bringing to 28 the number of IMO authorised suppliers.
In strengthening its distributor network, IMO is offering its customers better coverage throughout the UK making it easier for OEMs and end users alike to acquire what it reckons is the most complete and flexible range of automation and control solutions available to the industry today.
ETS Birmingham, part of the UK Electric Group, has been established in the Birmingham area for 102 years.
Through the terms of the agreement, IMO will be ETS' preferred range of control and automation products.
IMO's UK Group Sales Manager, Peter Malpas, firmly believes that one of ETS's greatest strengths lies in its excellent customer relationships and its very good understanding of the automation and control industry: "ETS' field sales team are a very professional unit with an impressive track record".
"Together we will be able to deliver more of IMO's quality components to the market".
"I see the relationship between IMO and ETS being a long and prosperous one", he said.
Peter Townley of ETS also firmly believes that the two companies will work very successfully together: "IMO's innovative ranges of automation and control products, and its new product road map in particular, are very impressive".
"We have a great deal of experience in this marketplace and now with IMO as a partner we are looking forward to significantly increasing our share of it".
