IMO Precision Controls has strengthened its Welsh distribution network by signing Aypex.

IMO Precision Controls has strengthened its Welsh distribution network by signing Aypex.

The agreement, aimed at giving IMO a critical territorial presence in the South Wales region, means that Aypex now offer quality products and services that will add value to local customers' applications.

IMO's choice fell on Aypex because of its solid business, good knowledge of the territory and strong logistics infrastructure.

Aypex was looking for a one stop supplier that could give them a comprehensive range of automation and control products and a full technical support so that they could move into the automation and control electrical distribution market.

IMO offered all this, thanks to its 15,000 automation and control quality products, as well as the necessary technical backup and good availability.

Flexibility was also another important feature for Aypex which is now looking to have a long and successful relationship with IMO.

IMO's UK Group Sales Manager, Peter Malpas, commented: "We are delighted with the opportunities this new franchise brings to us".

"Our objective now is to continue building on the sales and technical infrastructure to support the introduction of IMO's innovative range of products to the Welsh market".

"Our strategy is focused on developing closer relationships with all customers and we are determined to make it easier for them to buy IMO products around the world".
