The Onyx-152 is a new LCD panel PC that combines a fanless 667MHz Via Eden CPU system with a flat-panel monitor and is ideal for medical applications.

With a 15in XGA TFT LCD display at 1024 x 768 resolution, high brightness LCD, integrated multimedia functions and extensive expansion options, the Onyx-152 is a perfect low-noise platform for building a comprehensive lifestyle computing application.

In addition, the Onyx-152 includes all the features of a powerful computer into a slim and attractive chassis.

It accommodates one 2.5in hard disk drive and up to 512Mbyte DRAM.

This model can use a side-mounted slim floppy disk, slim CD-ROM, CompactFlash card and PCMCIA card.

The Onyx-152 is a compact all in one network-compatible PC with full safety certifications, medical approval and features to control a dedicated system.

Suitable applications include point of sale systems, healthcare utilities, interactive information displays, automation control systems, general desktop use, multimedia recreation, and other medical solutions for hospitals, trusts, clinics and therapy rooms.
