The APC-9172 panel PC can accommodate a Core 2 Duo Processor, supporting FSB up to 400/533/667MHz.

Impulse has released Core 2 Duo panel PCs from AAEON The APC-9172 is the first Core 2 Duo supported PPC in the AAEON Panel PC product line

It features a PGA478 socket that can accommodate a Core 2 Duo Processor, supporting FSB up to 400/533/667MHz.

Its robust design incorporates an IP65/NEMA4 rated aluminium front bezel, offering complete protection against dust and water when mounted to a panel or enclosure.

Its heavy duty steel chassis further enhances it ruggedness.

An anti-vibration hard disk drive bay improves the system reliability of the panel PC in harsh industrial conditions.

The APC-9172 supports nonECC DDRII SODIMM memory modules up to 2Gbyte.

It has a 17in 300cd/m SXGA TFT LCD, on-board digital I/O, audio and two gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 connectors.

In addition it also has five USB 2.0 ports, one Mini-PCI expansion slot and two further PCI slots, including one PCI and one PCI-Express.

FThe APC-9172 is equipped with an 8-in-1 card reader with a USB interface supporting compactflash, secure digital, multimedia card, memory stick (PRO) and smart media cards.

The model also offers three serial ports (2 x RS-232, 1 x RS-232/422/485) and four USB2.0 ports.

The APC-9172 as a resistive touchscreen and 24V DC options, making it suitable for HMI and operator interface solutions.

The APC-9172's strong multimedia functions make it a great solution for point of information (KIOSK), gaming, Scada and factory automation markets.
