Auto phasing and autotuning on compact servo drive
Infranor has released a new servo drive for brushless servo motors with resolver feedback and both digital speed and current loops, together with auto phasing and autotuning.
Net profit was maintained at CHF 5.3 million which is on a par with the previous year's figure.
However, due to the uncertain economic conditions resulting from the current political unrest, a downturn in sales is forecast for the current business year.
The AGM received a very favourable financial and operational report on Infranor Ltd, the UK arm of the group.
The company had a busy year: early in 2001 the company moved its headquarters to purpose-built offices and workshops in Lincoln, with a new workshop at Cranley in Surrey.
In July the company was recognised with an Investors in People award and in August Infranor Ltd's ISO 9001 accreditation was successfully upgraded to the new ISO9001:2000 standard.
MD Lee Fenney said "I am very pleased that our team has achieved these goals and we are already showing positive improvements in customer service.
With regards to the general economic conditions since September 11th, it is difficult to predict how the economy will stand up but we are in a very secure financial position and should be able to withstand a possible downturn.
Several long term projects are coming to fruition and we have new product ranges in development which should ensure our growth continues into the next financial year".
