Servo drives three axes in one

The cost of producing multi-axis machines can be significantly reduced by using a new range of servo drives from Infranor.
The new CD1-P3 servo drive combines three axes of AC servo drive and position control into a single unit, which enables savings to be made in panel and wiring costs.
The drive, which itself is more cost-effective than three stand-alone units, is available in 230 and 400V options and includes all the Infranor standard auto-tuning and auto-phasing functions which reduce commissioning and setup times, plus integrated braking resistor and common mains filtering.
The drive was specifically designed for small to medium machines, where panel manufacture and installation times represent a significant proportion of the cost of the machine.
