Products developed and manufactured in the UK played a major role in the outstanding success achieved by Invensys Climate Controls at the recent Mostra Convegno exhibition held in Milan Throughout the whole of the five-day exhibition, the innovative products on show attracted a constant stream of visitors to the company's stand, and the sales team reports that a number of interesting enquiries were received for the supply of large volumes of products

Among products which generated particular interest at the Milan exhibition were the new Drayton intelligent room thermostats which optimise heating system operation by automatically "learning" the thermal characteristics of the building in which they are installed.

A new range of high-performance boiler valves, designed principally for OEM applications, also received substantial attention and favourable comment.

Visitors with interests in the refrigeration field were impressed with many new product ranges from the Eliwell brand, including controls for blast chillers and screw compressors, and Digifrost digital controllers.

Nor were visitors from the air-conditioning market neglected, as was demonstrated by the very favourable response to Microtech's new fan speed controllers and fan coils.

"As one of the first major European exhibitions we have attended since BTR and Siebe combined forces to form Invensys, this show was particularly important to us," said Duncan Sharp, UK Sales Director for Invensys Climate Controls.

"It is very pleasing, therefore, that it went so well.

Our stand was constantly busy, and the quality of the visitors was very high.

Also, it was very gratifying to find that, in virtually every case, our products offered precisely the benefits that major specifiers and purchasers were seeking." All of the products on show at the Mostra Convegno exhibition are available to UK customers through Invensys Climate Controls' new integrated sales office in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

The office handles the full range of products from the Drayton, Eberle, Oreg, Ranco, Eliwell and Microtech brands and, in addition to providing sales and pricing information, it also offers advice on product selection, as well as comprehensive technical support.

Invensys Climate Controls Limited is a subsidiary of Invensys, one of the UK's leading diversified engineering groups, which was formed by the merger of BTR and Siebe, and which employs over 100,000 people worldwide.
