Thermostatic valves now in attractive finishes

An Invensys Climate Controls product story

Matching valves for radiators can now be purchased in either cobalt gold or Incalux gold plate, allowing their colour to be accurately matched to other fittings

Following the enthusiastic customer response to the launch of its radsets, which provide installers with a convenient and economical way of buying matching valves for radiators, Invensys Climate Controls is now offering these popular 15mm angle packs in a choice of two gold plated finishes, as well as in chrome.

Each radset pack includes an attractively styled energy-saving Drayton TRV4 thermostatic radiator valve, plus a matching high-performance lockshield valve.

The radsets can now be purchased in either cobalt gold or Incalux gold plate, allowing their colour to be accurately matched to other fittings, such as towel rails, bathroom taps and door furniture, in prestige installations.

The radsets are also available with a durable chrome finish, which is the most popular and cost-effective option for standard domestic and commercial applications.

All TRV4 thermostatic radiator valves included in the radset packs feature Invensys Climate Controls' latest reverse-flow bodies, which means that they can be installed vertically or horizontally, on either the flow or return pipework, eliminating problems that can occur with incorrect positioning.

This flexibility simplifies fitting, particularly in retrofit applications, and means that any radset will cover virtually every application which uses standard 15mm pipework.

Every TRV4 valve features non-stick internals to ensure a long, maintenance-free working life, and a large liquid-filled head which offers maximum sensitivity and rapid response to temperature fluctuations.

The valves have a scooped bezel which allows the settings to be easily seen, and a unique airway in the base of the head.

This prevents conducted heat transference from the valve body, which would otherwise impair performance.

Twelve click-stop setting positions make the valves easy to set, and provide a positive lock for each setting.

Range limiting is also possible to stop unwanted setting adjustments.

All thermostatic radiator valves included in Invensys Climate Controls' radsets meet with the stringent European standard, EN215, and are manufactured in factories assessed and certified to ISO 9001.
