High precision linear recirculating roller guidance systems from INA Bearing Company provide a bearing support system for linear motion with unlimited stroke length and high load carrying capacity.

High precision linear recirculating roller guidance systems developed by INA Bearing Company provide a bearing support system for linear motion with unlimited stroke length and high load carrying capacity.

Suitable for numerous applications, particularly where high guidance and positional accuracy with long displacement distances are required, the recirculating roller guidance system possesses in-built rigidity and low consistent friction.

Several designs are available.

Each one comprises a hardened high precision supporting element with attached headpieces and a number of cylindrical rollers guided in the support element with a very small clearance to prevent skewing - thereby eliminating additional friction and side forces.

Complementing the linear roller bearings are INA-Hydrel high precision guideways, manufactured from through-hardened (670-840 HV) tool steel, available in one piece to suit many applications or in matched sections for longer guideways to provide high accuracy guidance systems.

For exact and reproducible adjustment, INA series VUS and VUSZ adjusting gibs enable height and linear roller bearing preload to be set - adjustment of the two precision ground, centrally guided wedges in the gib being simply performed with the integral adjusting screw.

INA linear roller bearings with integral adjusting gibs give further technical and economic benefits in machine tool engineering.

Fewer components mean more economical designs and quicker installation, added to lower section heights and increased vertical rigidity.

The many linear roller bearing units and guideways in the comprehensive INA range are fully described in INA Publication RUF.

The fully illustrated guide contains design and installation guidelines, dimension tables and full descriptions of all the roller guidance systems.
