Precision bearings keep hydraulic systems running
Hydraulic drives and pumps require precision bearings and seals that are reliable, efficient and able to withstand the most demanding operating conditions.
Overview covers full linear range
Guide presents a complete overview of linear bearings and guidance systems available from precision bearings manufacturer Schaeffler UK.
Full details are contained in a new free brochure.
When potential bearing contamination is the problem, INA offers single-lip seals made from NBR, Perbunan or, if certain coolants or aggressive chemicals are present, Viton.
These seals are effective at keeping fine particles and dust out of the bearing and will allow any contamination that has entered the bearing to exit when the bearing relubricates.
For applications where it is more important to retain the maximum amount of lubricant, INA recommends double-lip seals moulded from NBR.
In addition to preventing the loss of lubricant, these seals also help to keep contamination out of the bearing.
It is well known that two of the most common causes of premature bearing failure are a lack of lubrication and the ingress of contaminants.
INA's new seals and wipers can be fitted to new equipment to increase the life expectancy or, alternatively, can easily be retrofitted to existing machinery to prolong the service intervals and reduce unplanned stoppages - all of which will help to minimise the cost of ownership.
