The latest version of the successful medias product selection and information CD-ROM now incorporates the entire standard rolling bearing product catalogue of FAG Kugelfischer.

The latest version of the successful medias product selection and information CD-ROM from INA Bearing Company now incorporates the entire standard rolling bearing product catalogue of FAG Kugelfischer.

As a result, engineers can now select the right bearing for their application out of more than 40,000 standard products from one source.

For FAG bearings, the CD includes not only calculation of the expanded modified life to DIN/ISO281 but also approximate calculation using Bearinx.

In addition, medias has a separate comprehensive lubricant database that includes detailed information for selecting suitable lubricants, while giving special consideration to FAG lubricants.

Detailed product information, comprehensive design and safety guidelines, detailed advice on the design of bearing arrangements and numerous installation proposals form the basis for the design of reliable and cost-effective bearing arrangements.

The designer's work is made considerably easier by 2D and 3D CAD downloads, tables covering accuracy, tolerances, and internal clearance, advice on sealing of bearing arrangements etc.

If required, an expanded tutorial provides information on navigation steps and guides the user reliably through the program.

The new CD-ROM also provides quick access to the entire range of rolling bearings, plain bearings and linear guidance systems from the Schaeffler Group.

In addition, product datasheets can be prepared in PDF format and printed - this is particularly helpful in cases where documentation must be supplied.
