Rolling bearing catalogue combines seven into one
A 1500 page publication provides an overview of range of rolling bearings and replaces seven individual product catalogues and provides assistance with bearing calculations and fitting advice.
The "technical principles" section of the catalogue includes information on fatigue theory; dynamic and static load carrying capacities of bearings; variable loads and speeds; life ratings; rigidity and deflection; friction values; limiting speeds and thermally safe operating speeds; lubrication principles; design of bearing arrangements; and information on fitting and dismantling.
This section of the catalogue will enable design engineers to decide which products they are able to use for an application; what they need to consider when designing the bearing arrangement; which tolerances are suitable for the adjacent construction; and how they can achieve the most effective sealing of their bearing arrangement.
It will also help designers calculate the rating life of the bearings; what temperatures and loads can be supported; which lubricants are most suitable for the bearing arrangement; how and when maintenance should be carried out; and how to install and fit the bearings.
