The acquisition of an Ingersoll-Rand powered Waterjet Sweden cutting machine has given Harper and Simmons the biggest advance in reducing lead times in recent years.
"The 2135QPTi has always been well-received by our industrial and assembly customers", said John Schofield, Ingersoll Rand Industrial Solutions Marketing Manager.
"The new model builds on this platform and offers even better features for industrial, MRO and assembly technicians".
The new 2135QPTiMAX delivers 1054Nm of reverse torque and 1486Nm of nut-busting torque.
With more than 10% added torque over the original model, thanks to a redesigned air flow, the new Impactool still weighs only 1.84kg.
The tool's twin-hammer mechanism delivers more power per kilogram and is less sensitive to air pressure fluctuations than any other design.
In addition, the use of titanium for the hammer case reduces weight and provides durability and strength.
The new model has also been re-engineered for maximum control.
Its feather-touch trigger and enhanced power regulator settings help operators ensure they don't overtorque critical joints.
One-handed forward-reverse controls allow operators to conveniently switch between tasks or applications.
Ingersoll Rand also now offers a free two-year extended warranty with tool registration on the 2135QPTiMAX series.
The new model features optimised airflow for greater tool efficiency and maximum performance.
With less air consumption, the 2135QPTiMAX has a lower cost of ownership and less downtime than competitive models.
For added durability the tools feature Titanium hammer cases and hardcoat anodised end plates.
