Inmoco has released the compact Elmo Solo Whistle to reduce development time and resources needed to design servo applications.
It is a ready-to-use integrated product that can directly connect Elmo's Whistle servo drive to an application.
The Solo Whistle's compact size allows the servo drive to be mounted in the motor, in the machine, on the load, or even attached to a moving part.
The Solo Whistle reduces cabling and installation time to cut costs and simplify maintenance for end-users.
It integrates Elmo's SimplIQ technology, which has been developed to deliver fast and powerful implementation of sophisticated motion-control systems.
SimplIQ combines advanced motion control with real-time networking capabilities and delivers many feedback options, programming capabilities and standard communication-protocol support.
The Solo Whistle incorporates the features necessary for fast and problem-free integration of motors and drives into machines.
The servo drive incorporates a digital motion controller that features Canopen networking, a position loop, a velocity loop, a current loop and a range of feedback and I/O options.
It also offers the benefits of Elmo's Composer programming software, which quickly performs drive set-up, configuration, tuning and analysis.
The Solo Whistle also includes a range of feedback options.
