The highly regarded Gold Standard Calibration software from Interface is now offered in a WindowsT format with increased functionality The Gold Standard range includes ultra high accuracy load cells and data acquisition / signal conditioning boards which combine, forming a system for all calibration applications

The software controls the acquisition from one to four channels and offers comprehensive analysis for single or multi-bridge test load cells in a single pass.

The force comparison calibration 'Transfer Standard' software includes the following features: User adaptable report formats, sample EN10002-3 report included; Integral calculation of load cell characteristics and performance/accuracy; Tabulated or plotted results of raw and fitted data on screen or printer; Manual or fully-automatic operation with optional DAC Soon to be available in WindowsT versions: Test Machine Calibration; Dead Weight Calibration; Smart Indicator System The Gold Standard system incorporates an optional DAC (digital to analogue) converter to allow the software to control the test frame providing complete automation of the calibration process.

A recent successful collaborative project for an UK calibration facility involved fitting a new test frame with a dual bridge Gold Standard load cell with the second bridge wired to control load application and the primary bridge calibrated to EN10002-3 allowing the system to be used for improved accuracy .

With this application all the mechanical work was carried out prior to the delivery of the test frame.
