Inertial Aerosytems Ltd have introduced a new UK designed and manufactured vehicle dynamics acquisition and analysis system The RT3000 Vehicle Navigation System makes real-time measurements of vehicle motion

The design is based on a full, six axis inertial navigation system, with combined GPS, giving Valuable vehicle dynamics information such as Heading, Roll, Pitch, Accelerations and Angular rates.

The full system includes vehicle mounted GPS Receiver, Inertial Measurement Unit and Data Logger Modules.

Advanced Micromachined Silicon Inertial Sensors provide accurate measurements in harsh Environments, with over-range compensation software to cater for severe shocks.

The Kalman Filter in the heart of the RT3000 virtually eliminates any errors from the inertial Sensors and aids the GPS, giving fast reacquisition times in environments with frequent sky Obstructions.

A powerful 300MHz CPU takes care of all the necessary processing to give up-to-the-millisecond results.

Powerful post acquisition software is provided for full test Analysis.
