Accelerometer takes conditioning onboard

Inertial Aerosystems has a new range of low-noise surface-mount accelerometers in 8mm square, hermetically sealed, LCC or JLCC packages.

Inertial Aerosystems has a new range of low-noise surface-mount accelerometers in 8mm square, hermetically sealed, LCC or JLCC packages The model 1221 combines a MEMS sensor with ASIC signal conditioning to give differential or single-ended outputs of +/-4V or 0.5-4.5V, respectively

Designed to measure DC and AC accelerations, an onboard temperature sensor allows modelling of output parameters to achieve optimum performance.

Acceleration ranges from +/-2 to +/-200g FSD are available in seven ranges with operating temperature of -55 to +85C.

Devices are designed for demanding applications in seismic monitoring, security systems, vibration monitoring and aerospace/defence electronics, where space is at a premium.

Commercial, up-screened and MIL versions can be provided. Request a free brochure from Inertial Aerosystems UK ...
