Inertial Aerosystems has a new explosion proof precision pressure transducer for use in hazardous environments.

Inertial Aerosystems has a new explosion proof precision pressure transducer for use in hazardous environments.

Designated the PPTE, it combines proven MEMS silicon sensor technology with microprocessor based signal conditioning to give a highly accurate and reliable pressure transducer.

Incorporating a hermetically sealed, rugged, stainless steel casing, this versatile product is ideal for operation in severe vibration, thermal and mechanical shock situations.

High accuracy of 0.10% of full scale is obtained over a temperature range from -40 to +85C (better accuracy available) and there are many programmable user features.

Designed to be integrated with existing and new systems it has 0-5V and either RS232 or RS485 digital outputs and pressure ranges of 15 to 3000lb/in2 full scale.

This innovative unit has process control applications in the chemical, oil, gas, paper and pulp industries.
