Accelerometers show all three axes

An Inertial Aerosystems UK product story

Rugged, triaxial analogue accelerometers show all three axes of orthogonal acceleration when used with a digital oscilloscope, virtual scope, PC or standard data loggers.

Inertial Aerosystems has announced a range of rugged, triaxial analogue accelerometers with ranges from +/-2 to +/-400g.

Designated the 2440 series, they have a higher performance and wider temperature range than the established model 2430.

They show all three axes of orthogonal acceleration when used with a digital oscilloscope, virtual scope, PC or standard data loggers.

All the incorporated sensors are fully calibrated and are mounted in a rugged aluminium case with individual instrumentation amplifiers and regulated power supply.

The 2440 range can operate from -55 to +125C.

Features include low output noise, +/-5V DC single ended, low impedance full scale outputs, and tailored to meet low to medium frequency instrument uses.

With 2000g shock rating, these products have applications in vibration monitoring, analysis, crash testing, robotics, machine control and instruments.
