Shortform covers sensor and measurement products
Inertial Aerosystems has published a new shortform catalogue outlining details of its innovative US-sourced high-tech products for sensor, communications, inertial and dynamic measurement markets.
This Xbus Master battery powered system can control up to 10 sensors with the Xbus device in each sensor.
The sensors provide drift-free 3D orientation as well as kinetic data such as 3D acceleration, 3D rate of turn and 3D earth magnetic data.
This system can be used with biomechanics, exercise and sports in one area.
Another is to measure the full movement of robotics and machines in industry, for research, development and production test of complex objects with multiple moving parts.
The Xbus can be connected to a PDA or PC via a serial cable or wireless connection, where data is logged or used in any real-time application.
Measuring 100 by 150 by 40mm and weighing 268g, the Xbus Master is portable and can be mounted close to the object under test.
It is available in a complete kit containing Xbus master device, five sensors (MTxs), MT software development kit, five Xbus cables, power adapter, four AA rechargeable batteries, Bluetooth transceiver strap and carrying case, or as separate components.
This product has applications in research and development, medical engineering, manufacturing test and process control. Request a free brochure from Inertial Aerosystems UK ...
