Battery powered, pocket sized digital protractor provides an instant digital reading on an LED display of all angles as it rotates through a 360-degree circle.

Inertial Aerosystems has announced a battery powered, pocket sized digital protractor.

The Pro 3600 provides an instant digital reading on an LED display of all angles as it rotates through a 360-degree circle.

An incorporated lightweight aluminium frame provides a precise base that allows a liquid filled angle sensor and its microprocessor circuit to compute accurate measurements throughout the protractor's 360-degree range.

The Pro 3600 operates normally in a standard reference mode where level is displayed as 0.00 degrees, relative to the gravity vector.

However an offset reference point for 0.00 degrees can easily be established by pushing the alt-zero button when the desired offset angle is reached.

It also has the ability to freeze any displayed angle on the LCD by pushing the hold button.

This unit has an RS232 compatible digital output which will interface with computers, data loggers and printers.

The unit is calibrated by the user and does not require factory calibration.

It has applications in surveying, construction, industrial safety and laboratories.
