MEMS inertial measurement unit contains an internal ultra-low-power attitude and heading reference system processor and a real-time Kalman filter.

New from Inertial Aerosystems, the MTi-G is a MEMS inertial measurement unit with integrated GPS.

It contains an internal ultra-low-power attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) processor and a real-time Kalman filter.

Key benefits of the compact MTi-G sensor is that it provides accurate horizontal and vertical position, velocity and 3D orientation estimates.

With a high update rate and fidelity, the MTi-G is an excellent measurement unit for navigation and control of vehicles and other objects, even humans.

Weighing only 68g and measuring 58 x 58 x 33mm it is ideal where space and weight are at a premium.

It can also operate in tough environments within a temperature range of -20 to +55C.

A development kit is available to simplify integration of the MTi-G into any system or (OEM) application.

Typical applications can be found in the aerospace, automotive, robotics and marine industries as well as pedestrian navigation and virtual reality.
