Circuit breaker identifies common wiring faults

An Ideal Industries (UK) product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 22, 2009

Ideal Industries has launched a digital circuit breaker finder and socket tester designed to safely locate breakers and identify common wiring faults.

The digital circuit breaker finder features a non-contact voltage sensor mode that senses when a voltage higher than 50V is present, activating a beep to alert the user.

The integrated socket tester instantly identifies common wiring faults by verifying the wiring configuration.

Wiring errors are indicated by one or more LEDs failing to light, with the pattern of lit LEDs indicating the type of fault.

This failsafe socket tester system means that any LED that is not lit indicates a problem.

The digital circuit breaker finder also features auto-power off and low battery detection.

The finder and socket tester kit includes a power cord, manual and soft carrying case.
