The TextPod is a novel GSM-based remote monitoring and alarm/control system.

The TextPod is a novel GSM-based remote monitoring and alarm/control system.

It can be used in an unlimited number of applications where alarm monitoring of unattended equipment is required.

The cost effective telemetry device allows two-way communication between mobile phones/monitoring stations and remote equipment or assets.

The TextPod is a device that combines monitoring and control of its programmable digital and analogue inputs and outputs, with the ability to send and receive messages and instructions to mobile phones and/or PCs using the short message service.

Once the TextPod has been configured using its Windows-based software, there is no further PC reliance.

Alternatively, when a significant number of remote sites need to be monitored, a PC can be used to manage a network of devices.

SMS messages can even be programmed to output process data at regular intervals or on a number of different events.
