A laser pointing accessory allows users of the Javelin infrared temperature sensor to precisely align the sensor with the centre of the target object with a minimum of effort

A laser pointing accessory from Ircon enables fast set-up of its Javelin infrared temperature sensor.

Fitted directly onto the instrument lens, it allows users to precisely align the sensor with the centre of the target object with a minimum of effort.

Powered by its own battery, the laser pointer simplifies the installation of multiple temperature sensors and periodic maintenance procedures.

Once sensor aiming has been validated, the laser is detached and stored away for future use.

The focal distance of Javelin can be set as standard (2.5m) or close (0.2m) and offering a choice of spectral range from 5 to 14 microns, it suits a broad range of uses.

Two different linear outputs of 0 to 10V and 4 to 20mA allow simple interface with control and instrumentation systems.

Able to operate in an ambient temperature of up to 150s without water cooling, the compact IP65 rated infrared temperature sensor is designed to support harsh industrial environments.
