Interlink BT reckons its new catalogue contains the industry's broadest line of network products for DeviceNet, Profibus-DP and Industrial Ethernet.

Advanced I/O modules (AIMs) are the culmination of Interlink BT's focused dedication to the idea of "connectorised" I/O stations.

AIM modules consist of two family styles.

The standard (SE) style stations provide diagnostic information that is simply not available using traditional PLC I/O cards.

This includes group sensor power supply over current indication and individual output short circuit indication.

The deluxe (LX) style stations provide an even higher level of diagnostics.

These stations indicate if an individual input or output point is shorted, open, or working correctly.

The AIM catalogue features: quick selection guides for I/O modules; a matrix of standard cable lengths; part number keys for cordsets and receptacles; network overviews for DeviceNet, Profibus-DP and Ethernet; and a plug and work section covering the benefits of connectorised I/O, a photo gallery of applications, flexlife cable performances, and cable bundling and installation techniques.
