IronCAD is now supporting the SpaceBall and SpaceMouse 3D motion controllers from 3Dconnexion.

Current IronCAD and Inovate 6.0 users who would like to use these devices will be able to download the required software directly from the IronCAD website.

Support for 3Dconnexion devices will allow IronCAD users to use both hands simultaneously dramatically improving the productivity of the 3D modeling process.

"Support for 3Dconnexion devices is in direct response to customer enhancement requests", said Cary O'Connor, IronCAD's Director of Product Marketing.

"After using the device for only a short time I can definitely see that the fastest modeller in the industry can become even faster".

"What makes the SpaceBall and SpaceMouse so addictive is two fold.

First is their ability to pan, zoom and rotate as one fluid motion.

Second is the ability to program the controller device buttons with your most commonly used commands", states Barry Smith, Vice President, Worldwide Marketing for 3Dconnexion.

"This allows the designer to work more in a heads up style, resulting in higher productivity".
