InnovationSuite 2003 (IS 03) is the latest version of the award-winning integrated solution from IronCAD.

InnovationSuite 2003 (IS 03) is the latest version of the award-winning integrated solution from IronCAD InnovationSuite 2003 includes improvements to each of its component products: IronCAD, the award-winning, full-featured detail design production tool that uses a new innovative design approach, which allows greater design flexibility; Inovate, the low cost, easy to use 3D desktop product for creating, modifying, and communicating 3D designs; and TeamVault, a simple to deploy, flexible and cost effective web-based engineering data management (EDM) system

InnovationSuite 2003 extends IronCAD's position as the leading design collaboration solution targeted to the small to medium sized company by offering additional new functionality in key 3D design areas.

New in IS 03 is the addition of several new freeform surface creation types such as UV mesh, ruled sweep (two guide curves, bounded curve, parallel and fixed), loft, spin and edge.

Surfaces can be created from existing model edges, imported wire frame entities or from newly created 3D curves.

Surfaces can be stand alone or they can be integrated into the history tree of the solid model.

Several enhancements were made to the 3D curve creation tool to allow for precise input.

New extensions have been made to IronCAD's catalogue-based drag and drop design environment that dramatically speed up the assembly modelling process.

The user is now able to drop base IntelliShapes directly onto existing parts as a totally new part rather than just an additive feature to the existing part.

This ability to work precisely in the assembly context without the need for separate part files and positional constraints is one of the main reasons why IronCAD users experience such dramatic productivity improvements.

IronCAD's industry acclaimed TriBall has received several new enhancements such as plain locking and single action copying that further extends its claim as the most useful tool in the CAD industry.

Also added in this release is the ability to pick through both parts and assemblies to hidden edges dramatically accelerating the process of moving and assembling features, parts and assemblies.

Numerous improvements have been made to IronCAD's 2D drawing environment such as a new crop view command, automated hole table, aligned section views, auto-assigned item bubbles, and several new dimension types such as additive leader line style, arc extension leader and jog enabled radius/diameter and many more.

IronCAD has further enhanced its PDF embedded drawing file format which allows its native drawing files to be viewed using any PDF enabled viewer such as Adobe Acrobat.

This allows IronCAD drawing files to be shared with any person inside or outside the company that has a PDF viewer available to them.

IS 03 also includes a new file preview image, available from within Windows Explorer or during the file load process.

In addition to the new features, users will enjoy the many quality improvements and changes to the user interface aimed at improving the overall usability of the software.

"We are very excited about the changes that have been made to IronCAD and Inovate to further improve the productivity delivered by whole IS 03 family", says Shaun Murphy, IronCAD's Vice President of Marketing.

He continues: "In today's economic climate design productivity is king and IronCAD delivers the most productive modelling solutions on the market today, they truly are the fastest and easiest way to 3D".

All the components of InnovationSuite are fully integrated, but can easily be used individually with other design tools.
