IronCAD has successfully launched version 6 of its software throughout India in conjunction with Hope Technologies.
IronCAD has successfully launched version 6 of its software throughout India in conjunction with Hope Technologies.
The launch took place last month in the five cities of Bangalore, Hyderbad, Chennai, Mumbai and New Delhi, and more than 300 delegates from over 150 companies attended the meetings.
"We could not have asked for a more successful launch of IronCAD 6.0 in India", says Steve McGuinness, Director of International Sales.
"The turnout in all five cities was excellent and the attendees were extremely excited about the productivity improvements they will gain with IronCAD".
A major highlight of the road show was a presentation by Al Pump, the first IronCAD 6.0 customer in India, which demonstrated that with only 2 days training it was able to create new designs that were ready for manufacturing in only 3h.
"Using IronCAD has helped us to experience a cycle time reduction of over 35% as compared to our old 2D-CAD methodology.
The key features of IronCAD like functional 3D modelling, optional parametric approach, on the fly part catalogue library creation, simultaneous motion and animation creation helped us dramatically improve our productivity", says Dr B Shiv Kumar, CMD, Al Pump.
