IronCAD is to continue its sponsorship of leading European Top Methanol Funny Car drag racing team Leanders Bros from Alfta, Sweden For the second straight year IronCAD is proud to be the major sponsor for Leanders Bros

The 2004 season runs from May though September of 2004.

Since 2000 Leander Bros has been a top competitor in the European Drag Racing Championship circuit.

In 2003 it smashed the European record in its class with an amazing time of 5.666s to cover the quarter mile track.

For the 2004 season the team will continue to use a 3500hp Top Methanol Funny Car and is expected to once again make a major impact on the racing circuit this year.

The team's next race is scheduled for 4th to 6th July at the Alastaro Circuit in Finland.

Shaun Murphy VP of Sales and Marketing at IronCAD states: "It was a real thrill to watch the Leanders Bros car go racing down the speedway with an IronCAD logo on the hood and IronCAD-designed parts under it".

"We are thrilled to be sponsoring the Leanders team for a second year".

"This year we are the major sponsor with a more visible presence on the Leanders Bros race car; what a great way for us to highlight the design speed of IronCAD by sponsoring one of Europe's speediest cars".

"Also this year you can stop by the Leanders Bros pit for demonstrations of how the team uses IronCAD to design and modify parts, while watching the team work on the car".

Ulf Leanders of Leanders Bros adds: "We started using IronCAD in 2003, implementation was very fast and efficient".

"Because of this we are planning on expanding IronCAD's role in the design of our racing machines and integrating CAM software and NC machinery".

"With all this production we know that in 2004 we will break records".
