IronCAD has sold more than 1100 licences of its flagship software to educational institutions in India over the past 6 months.

From January to June of this year, IronCAD's premier channel partner, Hope Technologies has been demonstrating IronCAD's unique approach to design to some of the best educational institutions throughout India such as JNTU College of Engineering and MP Nachimuthu M Jaganathan Engineering College, two of India's leading engineering schools who produce some of the regions best engineering talent.

The schools saw the productivity gains and have rapidly begun implementing the IronCAD solution.

"We found that students are able to create complex models within a very short time period using IronCAD", says Dr J Kumar of MP Nachimuthu M Jaganathan Engineering College.

"IronCAD enables us to easily teach the concepts of 3D mechanical design and spend less time teaching our students how to operate the software".

"Hope has been in the CAD software business for many years but we have never seen such rapid adoption of 3D CAD software by a specific industry", says Ayush Nadimpalli, Hope's Country Manager.

"We could not be happier with the results and we take pride in knowing the future of engineering in India has a place with us and IronCAD".

As part of the Global Educational Software Donation programme, all schools who have purchased IronCAD in India will receive the latest version of IronCAD, v7 with more than 200 customer-driven enhancements.
