The latest release of the PEPS SolidCut suite of CAD/CAM software from Camtek has been awarded Gold Partner status in IronCAD's Solution Partner Programme.

The latest release of the PEPS SolidCut suite of CAD/CAM software from Camtek has been awarded Gold Partner status in IronCAD's Solution Partner Programme.

Gold Partner status is awarded to companies who expand their companies products capabilities to be able to read the native file format (.ics) of IronCAD's 3D design products IronCAD and Inovate.

IronCAD customers who want to take advantage of this tighter integration between IronCAD/Inovate and PEPS SolidCut Suite need to obtain the latest version of Design Integrator which is shipped at no extra cost with every new PEPS license supplied, and extends the range of free integrators that Camtek already delivers.

The new Design Integrator for IronCAD allows for the direct handling of component and assembly data from both IronCAD and Inovate.

Terry Antrobus, Director of Sales and Marketing, summed up the announcement by saying: "As a Gold Partner with IronCAD we are pleased to be able to offer IronCAD users the unique ability to import native files directly into PEPS, and developments are planned to further streamline information transfer between the two products".

Shaun Murphy, IronCAD VP of Sales and Marketing, described the value of the announcement by saying: "We have found that companies use Gold Partner status as a key qualifier for the evaluation short list".

"It signifies to the customer that a native file link exists between the two applications ensuring a higher degree of success than would be available through neutral file methods".

He went on to further add: "We are very excited to have Camtek be part of our Solution Partner Programme and look forward to working together to improve even further the level of connectivity between the two applications".
