IDM Instruments has won an order to supply several Polyurethane Universal Machines to leading flexible polyurethane foam manufacturer, Dunlop Foams.
IDM Instruments has won an order to supply several Polyurethane Universal Machines to leading flexible polyurethane (PU) foam manufacturer, Dunlop Foams.
This success will see an IDM manufactured dual compression and tensile machine being supplied to Dunlop Foams plants in Australia and New Zealand, totalling 10 units.
This is one of the biggest supplies of universal testing machines in Australia in one order.
IDM Instruments was competing with many leading testing and measuring instrument manufacturers around the world for this large order, and stood the test of quality and on-going service support to win this supply.
This success comes as IDM Instruments has relocated to a larger facility to accommodate its growing business.
The company has worked previously with Dunlop Foams, and is proud to see its commitment prosper.
The Polyurethane Universal Machine comprises dual testing capabilities, compression testing in the centre of the machine and tensile testing on the outer.
This latest design reduces operator fatigue and production downtime by eliminated the need to change between compression platens and grips for different testing requirements.
