An ITT Interconnect Solutions product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Apr 21, 2009

ITT Interconnect Solutions has developed a range of XLR audio connectors designed to offer high performance and support the latest advancements in digital equipment.

Suitable for a variety of digital audio cables, these XLR connectors are designed to withstand extreme use in the field, claiming to ensure excellent RFI and EMI shielding to minimise audio distortion, while shock-absorbing, rubber-insulated receptacles reduce vibration and electrical noise.

XLR connectors feature a quick disconnect latch lock and are available in configurations of two to seven positions, with reliable, precision-machined contacts and lightweight aluminium shells.

Multiple plating options are available and the range is RoHS compliant.

XLR connectors are suitable for many analogue and digital applications and industries, including TV cameras, amplifiers, mixers, microphones and recording equipment; medical instruments; and industrial control devices.
