CAD software offers even more professional tools
IMSI has released a new version of its flagship product TurboCAD Professional.
With multiple new and improved features, such as image handling, integrated raster to vector converter, AutoCAD 2004 DWG/DXF support, units of measure, new 3D symbol content (over 700 3D symbols and 30 photorealistically rendered symbols included), new 2D and 3D drawings tools and over 25 additional new and improved features, DesignCAD version 15 continues to be a feature leader in the sub-$100 CAD product category.
"I have been a professional user of CAD programs for over 20 years, and DesignCAD continues to give me the simplest, most efficient way to create my 3D CAD models", said Miloslav Straka, President New World Graphics in New York.
"As a new CAD software user, I had tried other CAD programs that were much too complicated for me".
"But, when I heard that DesignCAD version 15 comes with free e-mail technical support, I figured this was a great way to get started", stated Charlene Lenk.
"After installing the software, I was amazed at how easy it was to design things, make changes and print my ideas.
I was able to design a mock up of a room addition in less than 30 minutes", added Lenk.
"DesignCAD version 15 marks the second time a new version of the software has been released by IMSI since we acquired the product last summer from Upperspace Corp", said Bob Mayer, executive vice president of IMSI's Precision Design Division.
"Over the past year we have used the development time both to improve the user experience (making CAD more user friendly), as well as to add new content and design tools".
DesignCAD 3D Max version 15 has a suggested retail price of $99.95.
The 2D only DesignCAD Express version 15 has a suggested retail price of $49.95.
