Microwave moisture measuring meter comes
to hand

The MW1000 handheld microwave moisture measuring meter was designed by Hamburg based Tews Elektronik for both laboratory and process applications.

The MW1000 handheld microwave moisture measuring meter was designed by Hamburg based Tews Elektronik for both laboratory and process applications for the fast determination of moisture content in the food stuff, animal food, chemical, pharmaceutical, paper and wood industries A further application of the MW1000 is the fast measurement of building material and floor pavement

The MW1000 uses a patented microwave moisture technique and is delivered in a robust case with a PC cable and battery chargers.

The instrument has been designed using a light (1.2kg) but compact housing with an integrated handle for the user and is completely portable with a standby time of 5h and includes a auto power off function.

The user simply places the sensor on the material and after a short measuring time of 3s an accurate moisture value independent of density and colour is displayed on a clear two-line display.

The MW1000 has a measuring range of 0 to 35% dependant on material with a repeatability 0.5% (standard deviation at 10 measurements) and it is not necessary to grind the material before taking the measurement.

Once the measurement is made all values are stored with a time stamp inside the moisture meter, 200 values can be stored within the meter and it is possible to transmit the data to a PC via RS232 with the provided cable.

The MW1000 is completely configurable by the display menu, this allows the user to configure, set up and store moisture settings and values via the function keys.

The MW1000 allows the user to configure nine different moisture settings within the instrument. Request a free brochure from Isatec ...
