DesignAid is a subscription service dedicated to providing 20 new, unique and interesting materials, mechanisms, manufacturing processes, and technologies in an organised pack bimonthly.

Inventables has moved its operations to Chicago in an effort to get closer to its customers and participate in the active Chicago design community The now Chicago-based technology company is one-of-a-kind

Inventables' service, the DesignAid, is a tool used by industrial designers and engineers in the product development process.

The DesignAid is a subscription service dedicated to providing 20 new, unique, and interesting materials, mechanisms, manufacturing processes, and technologies in an organised pack bimonthly.

All of the items in this pack are tagged with their name, an explanation of why it was developed and the need it solves, application information, and an item code referencing more information in a database.

"The DesignAid is both an educational tool and constant source of fresh ideas for those involved with the product design", explains Keith Schacht, CEO, "We are the eyes, ears, and hands for those that don't have time to always keep up with what is new".

For a limited time, Inventables will offer new one-year subscribers a special introductory rate of $5600.

This includes 6 issues, and a total of 120 items.

The DesignAid ships on the 1st day of every other month.
