ITI TranscenData is working with Calmar Research Corp to enable users of the Aero-Grid panelling system (AGPS) to identify and repair geometric problem areas.

AGPS is an interactive, three-dimensional, parametric surface modelling platform featuring superior geometry, analysis, computational gridding, and graphics capabilities necessary for effective and rapid engineering use.

Under the agreement the technology will incorporate the repair and healing capability of ITI TranscenData's CADfix.

"AGPS delivers time savings and cost savings through process automation and simplification", explained Don Hemmelgarn, ITI Vice President and President of ITI TranscenData.

"Now these savings have been further enhanced by ensuring geometry accuracy and automated repair".

"AGPS's philosophy is to supply flexibility and robust methods that add functionality to engineering processes", offered Garvin Forrester, Director of Engineering for Calmar Research Corporation.

"Cadfix has expanded the AGPS platform with reliable geometry translation methods that provide the additional support required by our customers".
