The ITI/LMS collaboration will deliver engineering services and new product development consulting to manufacturers serving the North America wind energy industry.

ITI (International TechneGroup Incorporated) and LMS (Leuven Measurement and Systems) have announce a Wind Energy Alliance programme.

The ITI/LMS collaboration will deliver engineering services and new product development consulting to manufacturers serving the North America wind energy industry.

The Wind Energy Alliance will provide engineering services to help reduce unscheduled down time and equipment failure.

Consulting services will also be available to manufacturers who wish to leverage best practices in developing new products.

"Our intent is to bring unmatched engineering and new product development capabilities to the North America wind energy market", explained ITI Vice President, David Byrd.

"Specifically the partnership will help eliminate problems commonly associated with rotating power generation equipment including noise, vibration, fatigue, failure and overall system reliability".

"Furthermore manufacturers will now be able to employ new product development best practices such as simulation-led development, customer usage profiling (CUP) and linked intelligent master modelling".
