Consulting services will also be available to manufacturers who wish to leverage best practices in developing new products.
"Our intent is to bring unmatched engineering and new product development capabilities to the North America wind energy market", explained ITI Vice President, David Byrd.
"Specifically the partnership will help eliminate problems commonly associated with rotating power generation equipment including noise, vibration, fatigue, failure and overall system reliability".
"Furthermore manufacturers will now be able to employ new product development best practices such as simulation-led development, customer usage profiling (CUP) and linked intelligent master modelling".
