30 years of Loss Prevention Bulletin
IChemE is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its journal, the Loss Prevention Bulletin (LPB).
In 2006 IChemE entered into a partnership with Elsevier/Butterworth Heinemann.
This joint publishing programme not only meets the needs of IChemE's members but also the chemical and process engineering community in general.
Several new titles are scheduled for 2007, including a new edition of the first of the "Project management" series and the next two titles in this range.
The "BP process safety series" has quickly developed into a bestselling series, and there are several new titles due in 2007 as well as updated editions.
Two new slide rules to accompany the title "Liquid hydrocarbon tank fires" are being added to the series in February.
After the successful launch of the "International lump sum form of contract" (Red Book, Consultation Edition), 2007 will see the publication of international versions of the three main contracts (Red, Green and Burgundy books) and the subcontract (Yellow book).
