Visitors to the Industrial Technology Systems (ITS) website can now submit their vision application requirements for evaluation by the ITS vision team.
ITS has launched the vision evaluation service so that customers may assess the feasibility of vision technology as an inspection method for their own products - quickly and conveniently at no cost.
Over recent years, ITS has recognised the growing importance of machine vision systems to the manufacturing community.
The launch of the free vision evaluation service will help more manufacturers to realise the capabilities and benefits of vision inspection systems including accuracy and speed, as Malcolm Knott, of ITS explains: "We recognise that many potential users of the technology still do not realise the full end benefits to their process; the increase in compliance with manufacturing regulations, the reduction of returned products, the ability to produce electronic records of batch performance, and to increase traceability.
By completing the vision evaluation form our team can help manufacturers to realise the benefits that investment in vision technology will bring".
In four simple steps visitors can submit the information required for the ITS team to carry out the vision evaluation: provide details of the product to be inspected; provide details of the inspections to be performed or attach a specification; attach a picture of the object to be inspected; and complete contact details.
The information provided will enable the ITS team to gain an understanding of each company's needs.
As an independent machine vision integrator, ITS has the expertise to recommend the best vision solutions to meet each company's individual requirements.
As the service is free ITS requests that companies using the service have a budget to realise the inspection.
