RFID specialist strengthens board with
non-exec's
Innovision Research and Technology plc, has strengthened its board with the appointment of two non-executive directors, Malcolm Baggott and Dr Ian Buckley-Golder.
Innovision Research and Technology plc, the developer of radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies has strengthened its board with the appointment of two non-executive directors, Malcolm Baggott and Dr Ian Buckley-Golder The company said that both men bring commercial and city experience to the roles, particularly from the fields of technology and engineering, as well as relevant vertical market sectors, including pharmaceutical, medical and telecommunications

Baggott was previously chief executive of the Vitec Group for 10 years until he retired in 2000.
Prior to that, he was a main board director and managing director of the wholesaling division of Macarthy plc, with responsibility for pharmaceutical distribution to pharmacists, hospitals and vets.
He also spent 10 years with Northern Telecom, now Nortel, in a number of senior roles both in UK and the USA.
Dr Buckley-Golder has held a number of directorships in the venture capital and private equity world, including Spectrum , Cascade Fund Management and Procyon Instruments .
He was also managing director of a subsidiary of AEA Technology plc and executive chairman of Engineering Services.
Dr Buckley-Golder brings several years experience of technology-based businesses, from electronics and software through to biotechnology and healthcare, as well as knowledge of different business models in Europe, Japan and the USA.
