Company makes certification acquisition

Manufacturers and retailers based in the UK, as well as North American and Asia Pacific manufacturers selling products into the UK, will now have direct access to a wider range of certification marks through a single point of contact in Intertek.
Beyond safety certification, the acquisition allows Intertek to grow its EMC and RoHS testing, management systems certification, and inspection services network.
Intertek will now offer an enhanced suite of service offerings for manufacturers of products ranging from wiring accessories and transformers to household appliances and IT equipment.
