Nanochain has a higher strength and rigidity than conventional maintenance-free chains and is ideally suited for high-speed operation and high loads.

Iwis Antriebssysteme has released the Nanochain roller chain It is has a coating that acts like a boundary layer to significantly reduce the surface's coefficient of friction within the chain link

Nanochain has a higher strength and rigidity than conventional maintenance-free chains and is ideally suited for high-speed operation and high loads.

In combination with optimised lubrication, the new chains offer wear-resistance as much as 50% higher than that of the Iwis SL performance chains, extending service life.

Their operating temperature range is from - 40 to +230 C, depending on the initial lubrication, and their resistance to chemicals makes the new chains suitable for almost any industrial application.

The chains are also available as conveyor chains with attachments and with the tightest dimensional tolerances.
