Ixthus Instrumentation announces the availability of a new UK designed and manufactured high speed Tachometer System, designed for use against all metallic and non-metallic surfaces

Ixthus Instrumentation announces the availability of a new UK designed and manufactured high speed Tachometer System.

Designed for use against all metallic and non-metallic surfaces, such as steel, aluminium, plastic, glass or ceramics.

The model FT1000-RMT, with custom designed capacitive sensors, is ideal for intermittent targets, such as gear teeth, phonic wheels, and turbine blades, etc.

The sensors are designed to operate with sensor temperatures up to 200C and will detect passing frequencies up to 50kHz.

The electronics are housed in a single or multi-channel strengthened ABS enclosure.

Incorporated is a variable gain amplifier with front mounted potentiometer to provide sensitivity setting.

This quality product has an accuracy and repeatibility of +/-0.01% of full scale, with applications in the electrical power generating, automotive, engineering and manufacturing industries.
