Ixthus Instrumentation announces the availability of a new UK designed and manufactured high speed non-contacting Tachometer System, for use against all metallic and non-metallic surfaces

Ixthus Instrumentation announces the availability of a new UK designed and manufactured quality high speed non-contacting Tachometer System.

Designed for use against all metallic and non-metallic surfaces, such as steel, aluminium plastic, glass or ceramics.

Codenamed FT1000-RMT, with its custom designed capacitive sensors, it is ideal with intermittent targets, such as gear teeth, phonic wheels, and turbines etc.

The system is designed to operate with sensor temperatures up to 200 degrees C and will detect passing frequencies, up to 50k Hz.

The electronics are housed in a single or multi-channel strengthened ABS enclosure.

Incorporated is a variable gain amplifier with front mounted potentiometer to provide variable sensitivity setting.

This quality product has an accuracy and repeatability of ?01% of full scale, with applications in the electrical, power generating automative, engineering and manufacturing industries.
