Available through Ixthus Instrumentation, the Kaman KD-2300 series variable impedance transducers, are a range of non contact linear measuring systems that give frequency response from DC to 50kHz and accurately measure from 0.5mm to 50.8mm.

Designed to be used with both ferrous and non - ferrous targets, offering long term stability, the dual coil sensors provide excellent thermal stability in tough environments up to 205 degrees C.

These systems are ideal for making precise measurements for applications such as product design, fabrication, process control, and Inspection.

This easy to use system replaces air gauges, dial indicators, LVDTs, and micrometers.

The output voltage is linearised, and proportional to the distance between sensor and metallic target.

It can be scaled to read out directly in engineering units on a digital display or into AD converters, etc.
